Tight tyre tool
I had something like this about 25 years ago but it was quite small and only good for road tyres. This looks just the thing for really tight tubeless combinations (or the tyres on my Brompton which are bastards)

Re: Tight tyre tool
Good find, be interested to see if it actually works. I was recently defeated by a WTB ranger on a light bicycle rim, I actually ended up cutting the bead (both tyres were well and truly shagged) as my thumbs were hurting so much.....

Re: Tight tyre tool
I have a tool that looks identical but is branded differently. It’s made of plastic resin.
It works extremely well to sit the last bit of bead onto a rim.
I got it to seat a particularly difficult rim/tyre combo that had snapped a set of three Park tyre levers previously. It does the job with relatively little effort.

Yep. It was a WTB Ranger/ WTB Scraper combo that had me stumped.

Re: Tight tyre tool
A tiny bit more googling turned up loads of them, known as tyre bead jacks. Wiggle do one for £15.

I've had the BBB version on my wish list for a little while, thought haven't got around to getting one yet. The model is the btl78. Cheaper too

Saw the ad on Instagram, chortled at the bottom spam in the comments.
The BBB one as mentioned above is £8 on Amazon. Very tempted...

Re: Tight tyre tool
what I always think with a really tight tyres is not how hard it was to get on but can I get it off with the tools I would have on the trail
If i cannot then its not a tyre that stays on my bike

WTB rims are always tight in my opinion (as are schwalbe marathon tyres)
Pedro tyre levers for the win, seem to be the best that I’ve used (tacx also seem good but the Pedros win)

Re: Tight tyre tool
Getting them on is easy (rangers that is), it's breaking the bead to get them off that leads to much swearing (and sore thumbs)... Pity as they are good tyres.
Chupas on scrapers or LB placcy rims no bother on or off......
