Due to a new bike/bar set up I'm struggling to get my current bar harness to fit properly. Options have thrown up the Salsa Cradle and Spesh Burra Burra as having quite a decent stand off.
I'm trying to find the spacing between the two bar fixings if anyone can oblige?

I've currently got the Alpmayo which appears to be very similar to the Acepac. I need to move it further away from the bars although I'm now wondering if I can use the Salsa cradle arms to adapt my Alpmayo...

That's interesting thanks Rufus... so the salsa cradle is significantly farther away from the bars than the Revelate and others (edit... sorry, I read Salsa as Revelate before). If you decided to sell the Alpmayo I might be interested

I have the Burra Burra which I like a lot.
The space between the the brackets is adjustable between a minimum and maximum. I could measure if you like.
Another option would be to use a cheap accessory mount from eBay and attach a normal bag to that.
If you check out Rockgeist bags this is how they attach their bar bags as standard.

How wide it the actual clamp (I think I have about 4 to 8mm either side of the stem). Thanks Luke and OP for the thread.

Thanks all :-bd
I've spent the afternoon tinkering and actually found an accessory mount in one of the spares boxes. It sits the harness far enough away from the bars to let me attach the harness clearing the cables.
"Dirty Teeth" - hadn't considered that, worth a try just for weight saving alone!
Still like the idea of the Salsa or Spesh, I'll measure up and if it either works I'll keep an eye out for a second hand one.

Jeff, how does it hold up with a big old bag on? Does it take 13 ltrs of stuff without watching the weight too much?

If anything it’s overbuilt, I expect you’d be fine strapping a log to to front.
