Stu's reviews

Post by Borderer »

Hey Stu, I know you have the links to your reviews and shop pinned to the top of this page, but how about a thread that you update whenever you have posted a new review? I keep forgetting to look and you do some really great reviews on interesting stuff there.

Consider me very interested. :-bd I had a look at them a couple of months ago but they seemed to be out of stock on a lot of stuff. What have been the highlights?

A local bottle shop and bar does deliveries of draught in 3.5 pint flagons which has been a nice way of getting the beers in. Properly gassed and everything. Means you need to drink the lot really once it's open but that's not usually a problem.

Only worked my way through the lagers hybrids at the moment ,due to the wife helping with consumption, forgot how good lowenbrau tastes , also a nice little Spanish lager la virgin which is boarder line with a light ipa with a subtle hint of orange to it , starting on tiny rebel clubs selection of ipa next week , 10pints in a keg with a 30day time limit once opened but rarely gets past a day and a half , daughter bought it me for Christmas it was the best prezzie ever all the standard largers they have are how you’d expect but tend to stick to the German and Belgian ones , spaten and jupiler very easy to drink too much is the only problem :-bd
The out of stock thing changes every couple of days depending on how many kegs get sent back (£5 per keg into your beer account) and of course the Brexit customs issues
