PSA - Helinox chairs
Not sure if the prices are good or not, as I've never bought one, but I do know they are discussed on here, so thought I'd let you know that new stock is available at Taunton Leisure...

Well I can't pass up a good chair thread.
The Chair Zero at £99 is not a cheap thing, but certainly less expensive than when I bought mine a cupla years back. If you have the readies, and you need a light(ish) thing upon which to park your bum, you won't go wrong with it. Bulky bugger though.

I’m quietly envious of Tim,s chair.

It put me off to, so a quick search and a 4 week wait brought me this from Ali express for £11.50ish

Re: PSA - Helinox chairs
I have a couple of the cheap chairs, really handy little things. I keep one in the van all the time
BUT, I have a helinox something. Had it a long time, well over 5 years I’d say. It’s a two footed chair, so getting in and out is a slight art, but it’s therefore lighter and more compact than a four leg version. It also works quite well for sitting on uneven ground. Haven’t really used it bikepacking though, maybe this year for more chilled BAMs

Unless you have the misfortune to be American it is a frying pan.

I'm a big fan of Thermarest chairs, the sleeves they make to turn folded self-inflating mats into chairs.
Surprisingly comfy and not heavy at all
In the greater scheme of things.
Wouldn’t take one on a weekender anymore but they improve day to day living massively on a long tour.

Yes I agree but jet boil are American and using their term will produce far better search results. The moral high ground is of no value when internet shoppingunless you have the misfortune to be American it is a frying pan.
