May require Jacky Weaver drafted in for that Parish Council meeting, if they get wind of it

I'm hoping to receive the mojo I ordered from the Internet to get out again to have some chance of having the legs to do it.

I need this to happen. Very short on things to look forward to in 2021 and I'll be honest, I kinda miss everyone. :???:

Good news.
Let's hope that some sense prevails and it can go ahead.
Anyone heard any word on the HT550? I'll be doing it myself regardless, riding from home rather than the group start.
That's assuming better weather than last year.

Man, to have the time not only to do that event, but enough to go through the quarantine period too.

I'm legit envious.

Edit- Though I see (unsurprisingly) most of the people doing it are Kiwis.

Yes - The group start for the HT550 is still planned for 22nd May, but Nicola Sturgeon's briefing yesterday was very downbeat.

Sadly I think the group start is now highly unlikely - for a start it sounds like no tourism facilities will be allowed to open by then which makes it really difficult for people travelling to the start, never mind the lack of facilities around the route.

I see on FB that Chris is hoping to run the Dales Divide with a group start over the Easter weekend but'll make a final call 2 weeks prior.

Same here, although it’s a first for the Moors for me. I do hope we get to go, it looks like a cracking event.
We’re all individuals, except me.

I woke up this morning but I’m still in the dark

The postponed event is the weekend of the 25th June, I did get an email after the cancellation.

I will be doing the Jennride. I will also be doing at least one of the old Jennride routes in July and August. If anyone can't make the June date, you are welcome to join me.

Seems like Rich has contacts with Boris's inner circle. Jennride on the first weekend of freedom with all pubs open. Could be busy in the hills.

Damn, hadn't realised that. I was in for both last year too... I think? Forgotten what I entered now  Haven't got any emails about the Moors100 though

Edit: checked and I have the email from last May to say it was postponed til the 25-27th of June (which looks like incredibly good planning at the moment!) but nothing after, and I definitely didn't ask for a refund.
