Can we have a ‘don’t care’ option too please?

Other than (maybe) Rightmove, I don't think I use any site that always opens a link in a new window.

If you don't care then there really isn't any point in participating in the poll, surely?

We are trying to decide if we should take back control and get opening a new window done.

I think they wanted the power back, not the control.

It was a poor, attempted joke about a certain recent referendum.

Oh  I thought DNC was a valid option in that (to me) it meant I wasnt bothered whether it did or it didn't, rather than about the whole question. The ambivalent are important, surely

Anyhow, good luck with you campaign, though I strongly advise against the use of a battlebus or aligning with Forage :-bd

Ah yes. The ‘don’t care’ was about the tab/window thing, not about other people’s opinions. I don’t give a stuff if it opens a new tab/window or not, but I’m glad someone cares enough to ask the question.

Open in new window means, open in new window. We demand a red, white and blue, open in new window.

P.S. If you're after an example of a forum that does this -> https://www.hifiwigwam.com/forum/

Wow, my vote has never been so significant!

Can I point out that if a link opens in a new window automatically, there's no easy way to make it not do that, whereas if it doesn't ctrl+clicking solves that? So defaulting to not opening a window gives better choice.

So really we should have had a whole thread discussing the wording of the question

Sorry to disappoint Dave but no matter what you voted, I can't change it.

But if we vote for opening in a new window, will we actually get a shiney new window or will it be some cracked deeply inferior window (because we were lied to)?

I think we should have an opportunity to see the new state before we vote for it
