Camino-ish

Post by ChrisS »

Was about to push the button on a Sonder Camino but they're now sold out on the options I want with no prospect of imminent restock, so I'm looking for an alternative. The criteria...

- In stock or available by mid-March at latest
- Around £1,500
- GRX 2x or would consider 1x
- The Camino has clearance for 50mm 700c tyres and would like something close to that
- Available through Cycle to Work

Maybe a tall order? I'm not sure there's much that comes close on price, but any ideas appreciated.

I had a (too small) Camino and bought a PX Goldrush.

Unfortunately I don't think it meets a few of your requirements but it is a lovely bike

I'd imagine there's a alu or plastic equivalent in their range though. Think they have stopped taking C2W at mo'.

Thanks, it looks like the Goldrush isn't available at the moment but yes probably out of price range!

Leftfield choice from Europe so it might not actually be deliverable unless smuggled on to a trawler, but similar to a camino...

Worth it just to say I have a bike that had to be smuggled in on a trawler
