Mini review

My £11 chair from Ali Express, comes in a zipped bag that some companies would charger you £20 for.
I've used in in the garden, the garage, from the car and campervan and today was it's first outing on the bike.
It's not ultra light or ultra compact, but it was so comfy today and to keep my bum off the cold stone was a real bonus and well worth taking along with me

Bought last February for a tenner when Lidl had their special offer on for bike packing gear.

I've only used this front bag twice, but it's been perfect for use on Jones Bars, so I can't see it being a problem on other bars,
The 2 straps go on the front of the Jones loop and the rear strap goes up and over the stem.
The dry bag is tough and has a velco strip to hold it in place.
It's not massive in volume but it fitted my stool, camera tripod (which I didn't use) and down jacket with room to spare.

While I'm praising Lidl this is a poor photo of thier £10 seat pack.

This I've used on my commuter every day I've cycled to work and while on furlough going to the local shops.
It's never let me down and it feels bomb proof

So if Lidl have them on offer again this spring snap them both up, they are great VFM

I have the Lidl bar bag/harness. I couldn’t resist it for a tenner () but it seems a reasonable bit of kit for the price. That said, the stitching has gone on the webbing that the Velcro loop attaches to, so I guess you get what you pay for. I’d be wary of relying on it for a big trip.

I missed the lidl bargains completely or would have grabbed them for the lad, he’s 11 now and can’t wait to do more bike camping this year.

I know Jeff. He had a perfectly good log available too. On the subject of chairs, I see that you can now accessorise your lightweight camping chair* with such useful items as a cup holder, a seat warmer and even a hood / roof

*No such thing

Well I think it's super

I bloody love my chair and all you haters gonna hate till you ask me for a sit in it.

It's a Helinox Chair Zero. Weighs around 500g and is pretty awkward and bulky but I don't give an arse. It just comes along for the ride all the time as I simply cannot sit on the ground. My back is like a pretzel from a couple of injuries and my knees don't point sideways anymore.

What gets me is this thing you've got looks kinda exactly the same for £10. Stupendous.

LOL. Mate my arse has an almost walrus quality to it these days. A thick layer of subcutaneous fat to insulate me a'gin the cold. I'll get a hood though. They actually do a sun screen thingy that could clearly be adapted for the chill.

It's not as light as 500g, but close enough for the money

And two enormous tusks either side of it? Blimey. No wonder you need a comfy chair mate.

Ahhh nooo Stuart, now I don't know whether to post here, in the winter leg wear, or the bloody Brexit thread!! I have recently been thinking of just that, how nice it would be to have an arse warmer...so I'm usually quite good at ignoring all those adverts that pop up on Instagram etc. but this morning I spontaneously and recklessly got suckered by an advert for some proper furry fleecy lined leggings, and ordered them - from Germany, so having read all the Brexit posts here about stuff not being sent because of some VAT issue I just couldn't resist just trying to see what will happen...a bit like your temptation to lick the covid infested parcel

On first look, I thought that was a ski attachment, 2 days of snow and I've turned into Franz Klammer.

You could combine the roof/sail with the sledge kit for eco friendly propulsion

I used to be able to sit cross-legged for hours. Can't manage it for more than a few minutes now. Sitting sideways on one arse cheek is equally painful.

Those rocking chair bits look like skis to me... just need a length of line and a fat bike to tow you for hours of fun
