19/2/2021 72.9
26/2/2021 72.3
5/3/2021 71.8

I relaxed the rules this week a bit so wasn’t expecting much loss so that’s a pleasant surprise.

26-02-21 - 115kg
19-02-21 - 114.5kg
05-02-21 - 112.5kg
29-01-21 - 112.6kg
22-01-21 - 114.3kg
15-01-21 - 114.2kg
08-01-21 - 114.8kg

Gently ambling in the right direction again.

Decent behaviour, lots of work but no time for any meaningful exercise this last week (managed Pilates, Yoga and a ride with the kids).

26/12/2020: 121.7kg
1/1/2021: 117.7kg
8/1/2021: 116.8kg
15/1/2021: 115.5kg
22/1/2021: 113.6kg
29/1/2021: 113.1kg
5/2/2021:. 112.2kg
12/2/2021: 111.7kg
19/2/2021: 110.5kg
26/2/2021: 110.4kg
5/3/2021: 110.2kg

Boo hoo only 200g down  Still 2300-2400cals, but little exercise with my knee issue, just some upper body stuff and stretching.

I think I can start doing more since seeing the physio yesterday, but in the absence of a mythical whoosh I might need to drop cals a couple of hundred more. Though tbh 2400 for a six foot, size 13, large frame guy of 110kg can't be far from BMR so don't want to cut to much.

Better luck to the rest of you.

01/01/21: 72.5kg
-------------
19/02/21: 68.0kg (-0.4kg)
26/02/21: 66.7kg (-1.3kg)
05/03/21: 65.8kg (-0.9kg)

Target: 60kg by 12/06/21.
-------------

Over half way now, but life stresses and lack of sleep have meant that at this calorie level my training has definitely been impacted. I have some leeway to increase it a little, but it would be better if I could get the other things under control!

Yeah, I generally leave it a couple of weeks to make modifications. Now would be the time.

As long as you're measuring accurately I wouldn't worry too much about BMR or anything like that. If you're not losing weight over a couple of weeks then you've likely got quite a bit of headroom to drop your intake.

So the scales registered 0.2kg loss in the week. Friday is my more relaxed day, still only 2500cal, but more carbs in there, but then overnight I'm down another 0.4kg

It's a funny old game eh?!

But it's good to see how seemingly random the loss, or not, can be to help not get too discouraged when the scale doesn't say what you want on one day.

I still maintain that the best way to do it is using a 7 day rolling average. Weekly weigh ins can be properly discouraging.

If I could have my scale not display the weight at all and then I just get the average from an app I'd be quite content.

It's a lovely day and I'm very much wishing I could drive to my usual loop, because I really don't want to be dodging all the people on the canal path to get there (it's always packed now that everyone works from home).

My knee allowed me to get out and enjoy a 2 hour ride yesterday which was bliss, and obviously good for the weightloss

Rest today and see if the weather allows the same tomorrow...

I'm in shetland and teir 3, so I can ride where ever as long as I stay on island, just need my knee to allow that

Nothing much of note this week.

No exercise, too much work, mostly behaving with food but too much beer.

I was getting a bit depressed with it as I've been strictly logging on MFP and even with the reduced exercise while my knee was bad i was still eating in the range where I should be losing given my bmr/tdee

Start 144kg
8/01/21 - 144kg
22/01/21 - 148kg
29/01/21 - 147kg
11/02/21 - 147kg
19/02/21 - 141.5kg
26/02/21 - 146kg
12/03/21 - EEK

Nothing for this week, the batteries died in my scales and I have been off the bike for 10 days with a sore knee and a dead back wheel after the rim failed, desperate to get out on the bike.

Another good week, but not enough sleep so my training has been fairly bad quality.

Still ahead of target, but starting to want it to be over!

Stupid life getting in the way of my attempted good behaviour!

Some loss, should've been more.

Gastro bug and sinus/throat infection have both worked their way through the household this last week - yay! :-bd

So lots of staying in with kid/kids home from school and zero time for exercise.

Still...almost zero booze (allowed myself two beers one evening) and mostly behaving with food so can't complain (too much).

Here's to a better week next week.....

Down 0.6kg which after a week of doing bugger all after my knee physio execises threw my si joint out and has had me on the floor most of the week is good. Back feels much better this morning after deep massage yesterday,so maybe I'll actually be able.to get exercising properly again with no more trauma...

Keep at it folks :-bd

Not much loss this week, though probably not helped by pasta night being Thursday night. I also finally ran out of Christmas chocolate as a treat.

Good work everyone.

I'm not bothering this week. Honestly, my heart's just not in it at the moment. I've got a hundred excuses but..
I'm sure it will come back to me and I'll try again then.

Keep it up, I'll be back in the game soon I hope :-bd

Bike is back on the road and new batteries in the scales, I am back on it. I have begun logging on MFP again, trying to form a habit, biggest change are my lunches, I am enjoying a single can of soup, nothing else and I am finding this is enough to sustain me through the afternoon.

A single can of soup for lunch  How big is the can?!

I'm generally on 500-600 breakfast, 700-800 lunch and the rest at tea. Maybe a tin of irish stew or something might do me, but not a normal tin if soup.

Well done by the way. :-bd

I'll maybe give it a try!

I am keeping to about 1800 to 2000 calories a day, cereal or porridge for breakfast and a normal diner. snacks are normally a slice or two of fruit bread or grapes, so far it is working, as I change I will adapt my food to compensate.
