I know cycling lady. She is very open, and has told us several times that cycling on her period can be uncomfortable. So she uses a Mooncup, get yourself some new man points and get her one.

All I would say is be very careful choosing the size

The obvious answer would be a new bike! Massive brownie points and could pave the way for N+1 for yourself :-bd

Over the years I've bought Jane

Tyres
Socks
Jerseys
Lights
Garmin
Lock
Pump
Cap
Gloves

I couldn't say how pleased she was with them but they have all been used.

Her cycling requirements are basically the same as mine, or anyone's, so I just buy what I've got but she hasn't or replacements for worn out kit.

The difficulty is that when she needs bike parts etc. they just get bought as needed so come Christmas there might not be anything needed.

IIRC Tony she feels the cold: some heated gloves and socks. Good ones though: the stuff from motorcycle shops will be the go.

Or if she is the type for jewelry, a pendant or charm?

Or a Park Tools pizza cutter ... who doesn't need one of them?

Or some cycling literature? Loads of great books out there that might appeal. "Dog in a hat" is one of my faves.

Or some original cycling artwork? Have a look here https://www.artfinder.com/art/sort-best ... cycling/#/

Or scrap the cycling theme and give her a lovely pearl necklace instead?

Every year I get Mrs-voodoo running and walking kit. Last year I thought I’d be romantic and get her some jewellery (mountain themed natch...) and score some brownie points that way

As much as she loved her jewellery and she still wears it, no one else got her running stuff  So this year, I’m scrapping the (Vaguely) romantic gifts and getting her running stuff!

Anyways back on thread, did she ask for bike gifts?
  • New clothing
    Warm, winter cycling boots
    Buffs etc
Night in a b+b within cycling distance
    Books

My wife and I have been married for 48 christmases. We've come to a point where we have everything we want/need. If we need something, we buy it whatever time of year it is. Same with birthdays, so instead of buying for each other, we make a donation to the Salvation Army and buy each other a token prezzie - eg box of chocolates or a tasty treat of some kind.

mrs does charity work 2 days a week. and i donate monthly to heart foundation, because they saved my life.

we have been married 35 years, and always bought each other pressies at xmas, because it is nice to treat someone, and a nice suprise is always, well nice.

re the stooge idea, she wont ride offroad, and has a very nice custom specced 650b straggler.

she feels the cold, so wool socks direct from norway are on their way as i type.
some bits from alpkit too, and a nice bell from the states.
a load of little pressies to open rather than one biggy. like when we was kids.

One of those quirky jersey things maybe, or cycling themed t shirts that annoyingly pop up on adverts for me all the time? I love the blue cookie monster quirky jersey... But I don't know your wife of course 😀 Good luck!

Get her a ferry ticket for 2 to the Netherlands for a weekend bike packing trip to see the Toy Dolls.

My wife has rated this two years on the trot

Careful with that one, it may appear that you are pi55ed off with her nicking your kit and just want to make your life easier!

Findra clothing is really well made and very comfy. Most of the tops are merino, which is a bit nice for a gift. They are very well-cut which is very flattering. It's pricey, but it is Christmas.
