They look excellent.
Bloody Brexit means they’ll be hard to get here I bet.
I wonder if they would do them in sets of 3 rather than 10, they’d be under the £135 limit for import duty then.
You should put the link in the PSA thread so more people see it.

It's aluminium-butyl. DIY thread?

I bet most of their initial budget went into paying racing teams to put the stickers on.
No idea if/how successful they are, so it's hard to tell if their marketing is working.

TBH, with the dodgy translation I found it hard to work out whether it’s an actual product or a joke.
If it’s a joke it’s not that funny and if it’s a product.... it’s a joke!

That is brilliant and what utter bollox. In fact, I do wonder whether such things should be banned in an effort to save nobs from themselves. :-bd

That's amused me no end on my lunch break, much needed. Someone has kickstarted a catalogue carbon frameset? There is hope for my own bike brand yet

"Most common carbon steel or aluminum profiles on the market are very heavy and prone to rust. Generally, the weight is above 40LBS. If it is an electric bike, it may be 60lbs or even heavier."
I had some scales like that when I was into fishing as a kid ... everything was a third heavier.

"This unique bike’s resistance to impact is just stunning: it’s 61 times stronger than Steel and 15 times stronger than Titanium!"
They need to hire a tester. - Paging Shafiq - Paging Shaifq -

This convinced me. I have one ready to install.
The Rockstock is not only light and strong, but also uses viscoelastic damping to increase control and reduce fatigue. Made in our own facility, we have full control over every step from design to manufacturing.

Faserwerk products are designed, developped and manufactured under one roof. This means there is no information gap, the product can be designed optimized for stable production, and none of this information gets lost when going into production engineering

The Rockstock is the first handlebar using viscoelastic damping, making vibrations attenuate much faster than in any other handlebar. This will make your hands and arms last longer during long days riding harsch terrain, and improve control over your bike.
True reason for me asking for one was its geometry. I say to myself...
Eager to find out if the marketing is true.

Was browsing the current Evans site and thought this was amusing. It's the 'Road Bike Buyer's Guide'. Not so much ott marketing as just oaf marketing (outdated as ..)
What is the gearing on a racing bike?
At the front, the gears on a racing bike are usually a large 53-tooth front chainring, with a smaller 39-tooth inner ring. The gears at the rear (the cassette) will have very small differences (the number of teeth) between gears. A racing cassette usually has an 11-tooth bottom gear (the hardest to turn), with gears stepping up in small increments to a 25-tooth, which is what you'll need on the hills.
And then,
What is the gearing on a sportive bike?

The Evans website has gone downhill in the last 18 months or so, no idea if that’s due to COVID, shipping issues or SD. The last time I looked half the items I looked at were missing descriptions. It used to be really convenient to order click and collect and pick it up on the way to/from work, though I never did quite work out why it could be cheaper to buy it online and pick it up in the store from stock already in the store than walking into the store and just buying it. I haven’t been to the office in 14 months so it’s no longer effectively my lbs.
