I’m another Outdry fan. It kept me totally dry again today through three hours of solid rain.

I've recently got one of these and wore it for a week straight in the Highlands at the start of the month.

I can't reccomend it enough.

Big gore fan here.

Outdry or Shakedry. I've given up on anything that relies on a DWR coating.

I have a shakedry that i use for road duties. It's brilliant but I want something that seems a bit sturdier for off road duties.

I've got a couple of gore jackets and a few pairs of their shorts. Seem great quality. Just looking for a hooded version for the really bad days.

this

the best thing about the Outdry is I once took it off when i got in and left it in the porch and forgot about it after heavy rain,Next day I picked it up expecting it to have saked out but it was 100% dry on the inside
Great stuff but warmer than shakedry but sturdier

I've just taken a punt on the yellow jacket, using the extra £10 discount code.

Interested to know if they deliver OK Colin. I love my Outdry too, but it's grey (I bought it mainly for mountain biking) and when I put it on while a heavy shower blew through on a road ride yesterday, I took my hi-viz windproof off, and it seemed a bit nonsensical that I could be either dry or visible, but not both.

Ha! Almost exactly my thoughts on it, hence ordering the bright one in addition to the grey/olive one I already have.

I've gambled on a large Colin.
Thanks for pointing out the £10 discount as would't have noticed that :-bd
Nearly Half the price off the gore one I was looking at and I like the fact it has the venting under the arms.

They tend to fit slightly larger and be quite spacious / boxey / American fit in the body, if you haven't had one before. I am usually a solid XL but am a Large in these jackets, just FYI.

It's by no means a universal truth and depends a bit on your own proportions and how you like a jacket to fit. Plus all of mine are the stock that was probably an earlier production run / models i.e. from a couple of years ago when there were right bargains to be had.

Might be worth a shout out to anyone with the latest versions to see.

You'll be reet

Speaking of size, can anyone comment on the body/arm length on the EX Reign specifically? I swapped my medium Outdry for a large because it was a bit short in the body and way too short in the arms, but it is a bit baggy as I'm quite thin. Doesn't really bother me, but it's more relevant on the road bike.

I’m in the market for a rain jacket too and tempted by this Reign that lots of you seem to like, but on the pictures it looks a bit short in the back. I’m wondering if it’ll cover my backside if I’m leaning forward to the handlebars.

Can somebody reassure me that my bum'll stay dry?

Going to be controversial, as I will suggest my bikepacking jacket that I use.

Softer than a short shell and waterproof, able to vent and wear all day.
Fantastic jacket. Love mine
