Lightroom 4.4 OS Catalina 10.16.6 Help

Hi

I wonder if anyone has any tech advice? Both appear to be 64 bit (whatever that means) and ever since I went to Catalina, my to be imported pics are greyed out. I've made sure to click the duplicates import tab and it's still no workie....

I've tried copy, move and also add. Also tried a new catalog....



Any help would be grand....

Yeah, old LR doesn’t work on Catalina. I’ve had to stick with Mojave for my LR 5.x and PSD CS to work on my MacPro.

It worked just fine pre update, stupid bloody apple.

Looks like I'm going to have to learn how to roll back my os.

The problem is only limited to pictures downloaded from Google in bulk i.e. zipped files...if I import 1500 pics one by one, no issue...strange.

Adobe are your culprits here as normal. They've been pretty poor of late at supporting anything that's not the more recent versions of Lr.

Saying that, new version of Lr classic is quite good. I don't tend to use the cloud version at all.

I begrudge paying a tenner a month forever for software that is only worth around 100. More than 10 months paying and you're getting ripped off :(
