With Stu's kind permission I would like to share something with you that has a certain young man very excited in this house.
Joe has made himself a little shop on our website. He has filled it with nifty products that he hopes will appeal to our bikepacking friends. There are a lot of weight-saving, compact items in there that we hope you will come and take a look at. Lots of really great ideas!

https://www.weirdosonbikes.com/shop/

If you want to cut to the chase and see the one item that he is really excited about from a bikepacking perspective then take a look at this one - it is weight saving, space saving and planet saving - what more can you ask?!

Please have a look and let us know what you think,
Bridget and Joe

Am I alone in thinking the deodorant paste means I don't need to shower again, or have I been working from home for too long??

Couple of bits and bobs I'd order there - What's the payment method?

Tiny thing - can he offer the toothbrush with the handle (maybe as an add on for the difference ££) on the BP bundle? Personally, I'd prefer the ease of full size compared to weight saving. I get what he's going for though with the lightweight angle

I've got as far as putting in name and address for shipping, but can't progress to payment. I'm viewing via mobile rather than desktop if that makes any odds.

Hi Bridget. Would you ask him to reduce the number of Tyvek in stock. Will take one shortly via the shop... :-bd ta

Bridget, just ask Joe to perhaps rephrase the bit about condensation in the Tyvek bivvy. Saying that you won't get condensation is opening himself up to every picky arsehole in the world.

Yes sure I can get him to add a bundle with everything including full toothbrush in a bit. The full toothbrush is available separately for £1.99 just now though, which you could add on....

Damn. Not sure what that is about. He is trying to sort that out now....

Yes. Same issue with payment on desktop i.e. there's a message about Paypal but no actual "pay now" button or the like.

You might want to ask Jameso to hold on spreading the word until he's had a few orders and got it all working reliably. Hasn't put me off but might do for others (as Stu points out the picky folks).

That or his Mum should have said "soft launch" on here

Good on him though, some good initiative and imagination :-bd

He thinks he has fixed it now.
Sorry for the hassle.
Would anyone who wasn't able to purchase try again please?
Many thanks

Funnily enough is exactly what I did and besides, as I said, it's a teeny, tiny thing.

Returned and paid successfully plus received a confirmation of order screen on site and to my email.

A mate who does a bit more of this stuff (on line webshops and stock control) mentioned once to always set-aside a couple of items compared to the stock listed on site. Gave a handy practical fall-back in case of cock-ups or unforeseen complications. Does mean there's a bit of cash tied up in stock though.
