Oooh, Kwak... Like central heating in a bottle, that stuff! Lovely, but makes me feel all warm and sleep after about half a glass.

Coffee with Suntory whiskey in it for me this evening - not much of a fan of it on its own, but it's delicious in coffee or a hot toddy. And makes me think of Bill Murray every time I open the bottle.

IT might not just be about beers but I am.

I'm a simple man with simple tastes when it comes to the imbibing of liquids.

Water or beer.

I drink a lot of water. I love water!

I drink just ever so slightly too much beer. I love beer.

Never tried tea or coffee. I'll have a glass of orange juice if I feel a cold coming on. Happily knock back a coke during bikepacking trips. And have been known to enjoy a glass or eight of red if no beer is available. I probably have, on average, two hot chocolates per year.

But on the whole, given the choice, I'll stick with either water or beer.

December 1st is going to be a lot of fun but I don't understand how/why they made November so damn long this year.....

Says he who wasn't happy with the choices of beers in some restaurant ontop of a snowy, windswept pass in the Jura

Just had a very potent planter’s punch. One excellent rare good side effect of COVID is that the missus has discovered mixology.

You mentioned that last week Paul - that punch must be very potent  .

I rarely remember what happened yesterday let alone last week when there’s my wife’s cocktails involved

Not quite sure why I got this, it's a little too powerful. Still, the sun's over the yardarm so I'll just have to drink it. Ho hum.

A particularly fine Chenin Blanc that Helen spent a fortune on and I’m quaffing like a pint of cider

Because it's got contour lines on the label?

For me... a fairly average Loch Lomond Mosaic IPA from when Lidl had a load of their beer. Just a warm up to something stronger and darker - just haven't decided what yet.

I've drunk all my Ikat Salt last week. Now I want more.

Ooh, it has hasn't it. Where is it I wonder? Looks like somewhere near Stu's

Hopefully Landslide will be along shortly with a recommendation for us  . I can't have that vanilla porter thing that he tipped us off about because I'm saving the last one for Crimbo.

Having looked up the brewery and found it on the map... not there. Sadly, it's as invented as I thought. Missed opportunity there

If he can recommend something that's in my fridge, I'll be impressed!

Stout. Fine. Chocolate? Certainly. Orange? Unusual but not without precedent. Pastry? Pastry??

Fair play for giving it a go. It's good to experiment. Maybe you could have frozen it into a tennis ball shape and put it in a kids xmas stocking. "This isn't a normal chocolate orange..."
