The wild beer Co - bubble. Pale ale, big body, mosaic hops
Don't they brew 'Nebula'? Hazy and hoppy? Really nice that one.

Shared a can of Painting the Toon Broon, an 11.3% imperial broon ale from our local big hitters Wylam with my missus. I promised her a can after we had an imperial brown ale at our even more local brewery, Anarchy, but they're pretty hard to find at the moment. Shame because it's an underrated style - similar in many ways to a big impy stout, but a bit different.

Followed it up with an 8.5% tiramisu stout from another local (literally next door to Anarchy actually, both walking distance from home - god we're spoilt up here), Almasty, from their "Cake Sniffer" series. Strong on the coffee - not sure it's very "tiramisu" otherwise, but it's bloody tasty.

That'll probably do for the night!

BTW, any other beer nerds here use Untappd?

It's good that one. Love a Green Devil.

Had a couple of big boy IPAs for the quiz earlier but now on a Skinny Lager. Dropped about 10kg since Christmas and keen to keep up the good work. Surprisingly nice beer, much better than any 'light' megalager.

(Luckily) you'll need a few more cans old bean - pint has 0.3 mg or 3% RDA  . Or whisk a bunch of spinach into it :YMSICK:  .

Not yet, but a riding marra is always pushing it - was putting us all to shame in the after ride, deck chairs under the stars, post night ride 'rule of 6' meets. Now we can do it again, I'm logging on for some of that 11% Italian trifle filth. I'll show him........

Ah yes that's what I got too from Aldi. Good value and nice taste but still think it's quite 'thin'/watery. Might try stirring a bit of porridge into it.........

Not used to you mentioning wines  .

Back on the stouts..... was in Morrisbums and noticed a new Northern Monk effort: Chocolate & Caramel & Biscuit stout. Put one in my basket to try, and carried on. Later thought hang on I've been caught like this before and went back for a load more. Risk of not actually liking it and ending up with too many versus the risk of liking it and ending up with only one!

Just the one glass with tea.
Have just finished a very chocolatey stout from Neon Raptor and have moved on to Abbeydale's sea salt and caramel Salvation.

It's hopeless. I try to restrict my beers to days with a Y in, I really do, but I've just had to open one now to see what it's like. I've clocked the chocolate and caramel, and now Chris comes to mention salt I reckon there's a touch of it in this as well, but I'm not sure what type of biscuit the taste is. Given the caramel.... hmm... hey! maybe a Tunnock's! Brilliant! I've just discovered Tunnock's Caramel Wafer flavoured beer! It's Cheery Friday and it's only Tuesday :-bd .
