WRT - Lonely Heart Seeking Company!

Post by Richard G »

So yeah... things really haven't gone well this week (year?). I'm trying to finish off a work project and right at this minute I have neither a bike, or a route.

I figure if I take my fancy bike (ugh!) then all I should need to do is re-do the tubeless and pack some crap into bags. I reckon I could probably manage that first thing Saturday. I have zero chance of coming up with a route though, and to be honest, given I haven't ridden a bike in 8 months, I'd rather some company anyway in case I end up down a ravine.

Anyone willing to pick up a stray? I've already had COVID19, and even if I hadn't, I'm a good boy that wears masks in enclosed spaces. Plus, I promise not to lick you or whatever.

Take pity on me, would suck to miss it! Don't really care where you're starting as I'll be arriving by car anyway... as long as it's in Wales.

(Oh, and I'm not up for three days of hell. I've been turbo training a little, but I'm far from my usual levels of fitness!)

I'm feeling very unloved. lol

Might be irrelevant anyway as I tweaked my back last night. Will have to see how I feel in the morning. I'll try and so some work on the bike all the same.

Hi Rich, I'm setting off from mach also on saturday morning / lunch. i have a route planned that hits a few GRs, BB towers + the star. it's 160km over 2 days with lots of shortcut options. i'll pm my mobile number and we'll see if we can work something out. :-bd

Sort of, it's been so long since I've done this that I'm carrying more than I did on TNR!

I bet I've forgotten something important too.
