Only ever been in once a few years ago and it was more of a café even then. Reviews seem to suggest it's more a B&B with a café during the day.

Might be worth trying the FB page for Gisburn trail volunteers?

Always liked the D&P though haven't been there or to Gisburn in a few years. Imagine it must be a tricky thing to run and stay profitable.

The pub is no more - since 2017/8. The Old Vicarage next door is a good place for breakfast - doing takeaways or you can sit in the gazebo outside - they even do beer but it’s in bottles. Payment by bacs or cash. It’s a place to behold if you’ve not been, chandeliers on tables & service from a grumpy bloke in sliders & flat cap - plus trousers etc
