Yes. It's a thing now... - British Gravel Championships

Will be interesting to see if it actually goes ahead, and what the routes are. Especially considering there's a few bridleways in that there forest...

Does this event have any sanctioning by an official cycling body or is it just like when we ran the 'World Tussock Racing' championships at Bear Stock?

I can't believe it (Bearstock) was 4 years ago!

Their website states:
You must hold a full race license at the time of the event but don’t worry if you don’t, you can still take part in in the Kings Cup within the Gravel Fondo.
So quite possibly sanctioned in some way. Not sure their trophies will be as vaguely exciting as that one though!
