Talkytoaster - thumbs up

Post by quimarche »

A new GPS head unit meant a chance to upgrade my Talkytoaster mapping. The detail and styling just keeps getting better. And Martin provides top-notch support; 5 minutes on Skype and I was up and running.

If anyone's looking to move on from the Garmin base-maps, you'll find its a little money well spent.

Aye, quality maps. In fact I prefer them to OS in the garmin.

Oh. That's disappointing. If there's a single thing that would improve Reg's life immeasurably it's a talking toaster.

Ahh! So you're a waffle man!

Ta for that, forgotten all about it.

I've now had a flashback of Lynne Faulds-Wood getting very animated on Watchdog about poptarts, toasters and the possibility of personal injury: "a small chiiiiiillld could get horrrrrribly burrned!!". Well yes, the general principle of a flour-based products adult-operated heating device is to apply several minutes of molecular stimulation for the purposes of rendering said product hot and tasty.
