I want to do the 300, but not sure if I'm up to it so a nice road ride might be the other option. Will probably decide on the Thurs night! I'll be there Mike for a beer though

Haven't completely decided tbh. I'm leaning slightly towards kipping in the car just so I know I'll be there and ready to go early on Saturday. I'll spend ages faffing otherwise and end up not getting to Skipton until about 10am.

There's a tap on the side of a barn in Coverdale, the water's discoloured but is safe to drink. Can't remember if it's the farm at Braidley or the one at Woodale, the barn's on the left as the road swings to the right between the buildings.

There's an outside tap at the public toilets in Castle Bolton (in the car park by the castle), there's a sign saying "Not drinking water" but it's the same supply as that for washing your hands inside and is fine.

There's a campsite you pass through at Ewegales in Dentdale so there's likely to be water there but not used it.

There may be an outside tap at The Station Inn at Ribblehead since they have a campsite but I don't know where it is.

Outside tap on the northern corner of The Angel at Hetton.

Food wise, you've missed the village stores in Buckden and the Dales Bike Centre in Fremington. There's a cafe in the castle at Castle Bolton, normally it shuts at 1630. Not sure if the pub in Gunnerside is open again, it was shut, shut when we went through there last summer, I think it's still closed. There's also a pub in Muker.

The chippy and the pizza/café opposite stay open late in Hawes but they are at the far end of the town from the route.

Not sure what time the butty van at Ribblehead starts or indeed if she's operating at the moment.

There's a café at Kilnsey, lots of shops in Grassington, there's a Spar at the garage in Threshfield about 100m off-route.

I'm packed. I'm not ready. I'm off to bed, hours later than I wanted!

Staying at a bnb night before with a couple of posh IPAs and a bubble bath.

See you lot soon.

Hmm, just looking at the road route: Park Rash, Redmire, Tan Hill, Buttertubs, White Moss, Arncliffe Cote

Forecast is currently no rain :-bd , temps in high teens dropping to maybe 11C overnight, moderate westerly.

Anyway, I'll be on the Solaris as usual.

I'll have a small Camelbak as well but it will be just for water.
