Got Nowt To Do? Then Spot Watch This Now.

Post by Ray Young »

Alex Pilkington is currently riding the Borders 350. He started at 16.13 hours on Sunday 19. He rode for a straight 32 hours, rested for 6 hours from 12 pm till 6am then carried on. He started near Langholm rather than Peebles. He will be finishing in the next few hours and I'm waiting for him with a cold beer and a big bowl of soup. I'm thinking he will have knocked at least 15 hours off the best time which currently stands at 3 days, 0 hours, 10 minutes. Just hope I haven't hexed him by posting this.

Blimey, good going and now on fairly straightforward stuff 'till the end. He fairly blazed through the Fruid to Moffat death march although I guess it will be fairly dry just now. Wouldn't fancy having that near the end......

He doesn't hang about or indeed stop much. I think he did last years Dales Divide just about non-stop.
