Tune yards, ace I love that track.

Completely different, but I was reminded of this after listening to slaves
https://youtu.be/Qqo3yR109wE ace video too.

This is my fave slaves track. Lost interest with them after a while tbh. https://youtu.be/4vOVfdTjdNY

My lad was around tonight so we started on LCD sound system then ventured into gorillaz whereupon I dropped the O2 tickets (he’s a big fan)
Then wound our way via massive attack to KLF, currently playing is St Germain- Tourist, French jazz at its finest.
We’re all individuals, except me.

I woke up this morning but I’m still in the dark

LCD soundsystem are a real favourite of mine (went to see them on my stag!) My little girl was watching this earlier and it really reminded me of them: https://youtu.be/adUv6l8beSg

And st germain, cracking: https://youtu.be/6QImCMjW-PM

Had this on earlier, beautiful sparse bit of soul:

And Giles Peterson 20 British prog, psych and selection, cosmic:

The Nina Simone track is one I’ve not heard before, but it’s made me break out the Fela Kuti :-bd

I really enjoy this one too.

I've listened to every one of his '20s' so far and that fella knows too much about every micro-genre of music! :ugeek:

This is punk rock to me:
https://youtu.be/TYqs3NHCrlE

Imagine if you will, it’s 1970, you’re dressed to the nines for some quality classical music (some nice symphonic bombast no doubt) at the Guggenheim Museum, NYC and then these motherfuckers start up...

By ‘86 they were almost a cabaret act... Europe in ‘77, man that must have taken some balls.

For malevolence I’m thinking I need to dig out SWANS, Jim Foetus or maybe this:

Definitely this (at a volume where the air pushed out of the speakers hits you physically):
