This is my new favourite song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zd9jeJk2UHQ

Many will hate it. They probably live round the corner from Sean IOW
Great single, sadly I found the album a let down, tonight’s list (vinyl) has been, Tom Tom Club,Violet Femmes, Television-Marquee Moon,Talking Heads-Remain inlight,Stooges and currently Clash-London Calling.

Vinyl-tragically expensive :-bd

It's Wednesday [Friday] night, it's amateur Hammond organ recital night! OK, take it away skutters....

... no of course it's not.... it's Man... Or.. Astroman.. once seen Live never forgotten (as much as you might try, and I couldn't hear properly for 3 days after seeing them at The Garage!)

and in total contrast... just to show that Denis wasn't originated by Blondie.... and that Reg isn't just a punk one-trick-pony.... a throwback to those oh-so-innocent Fifties (although this was 1963 to be precise)....

Actually, how brilliant is that?! Never heard of them before. Gonna have to have to play that ten times in a row now! Recorded version's a bit better though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxzQICtt0mM

Today, I've been enjoying Gasper Mali. Here's a pretty funky video of him playing his MYOG babatoni (think a massive percussive bass guitar).

I think I'm now listening to what I assume is John squealing ... the acoustics across the Mersey and down through Snowdonia are wonderful.

It's Jim Gordon's 77th birthday today. OK, he's locked up in a secure mental unit these days but it would take all weekend to go through his back catalogue. One of those people you've never really heard about but probably one of the best drummers ever!
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

Nosing over a few maps. Ideal time for some Rutles tracks I think. Almost better than the "originals". No, dammit, much better than
