John kongas-Tokilshe man, as covered by the Monday’s :-bd
Followed by some White Stripes, and hopefully some inspired DJ work will get me to Sublime-Trenchtown rock, wish me luck.

Pearl Jam-Jeremy
What a great song, brings back memories of the Bass Centre in Wapping, picked up a Hammer 12 string bass (4+ octaves) and suddenly got just how good Jeff Ament was.

My last gig was The Mondays. Seems such a long time ago now.

Pearl Jam - Jeremy - brilliant song. Loved the song and album when it came out but kind of went off them when Britpop (how sub standard does that word sound now) came around.

Heard this on the radio earlier and turned it up loud..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw66FA6OTqA - Pressure Drop. Cool as you like.

Tonight been listening to PJ Harvey...

Fantastic Negritto-Please don’t be dead :-bd

Funkadelic- Maggot Brain, the title track is just sublime.

And finally
Beautiful People-If 60’s were 90’s
Now really this shouldn’t work, it should make me really angry. What these folks have done is to make an album by sampling lots of Hendrix, hence- If 6 was 9 becomes If 60’s were 90’s.
Sounds horrible?

I think I’ve seen them. Wasn’t the guitarist supposedly the illegitimate son of Jimi Hendrix, possibly Swedish?

Not sure about that, I did however play a lot of Hendrix with my brother, me on bass, him on guitar.
My great grandfather was a Cherokee Indian, Hendrix was half Cherokee so my brother claimed to be related to him as well!

Pink Floyd, momentary lapse of reason. Loud, while painting.
Brilliant.
Making this most definitely a cheery Saturday.

Fed up of all this dreary mourning music on the bloody radio. He was 99 for chrisakes, (that royal dude who died) we should be celebrating!!
Got Napalm Death on, very loud as its very windy outside so the neighbours won't be disturbed.

Yep, brilliant. Really enjoyed Hal Hartley's films and, uncannily, was thinking only yesterday about revisiting them.

Got me thinking about other long lost films...

Wind in the trees. Can also hear the river, which is about 70 m from the house.
Birds - house martin, gray wagtail (perhaps white), carrion crow, kestrel, red kite and most of all, blackbird. At least that's what the app tells me.
And the low tune of cars on the main road some 700 m away.

And just now the church bell, more than 1.5 km away.
