Fuel canisters Highlands and Islands

Apart from Oban, Ft. William and Ullapool where else are fuel canisters ( threaded) available in the Highlands, West Coast, Mull and Skye?
Is it worth carrying an alcohol stove as a backup plan?
Planning on a 2 month trip.

I've seen them in shops and filling stations up north/out west so I think if you carry an emergency canister rather than a spare meths stove you'd probably be fine.

Camp grounds shops, and even quite a few groceries shops in small villages will have them.

You’ll have no problem getting them, even village shops usually stack a couple of sizes in my experience.
