Really is an amazing bag. Soft enough to allow stuff in but rigid enough to hokd shape. Rated to 1L but I'm pretty certain you can definitely get more in there (or are they rated at 1.5 as my Crikey, how much bag is 1L and this is substantially bigger)...

Yeah, I'm really pleased with my 1l top tube bag too. Really well made and I've been able to get stuff out of the front on the move, by using just one zip.

I'm very happy with the bar bag and the saddle pack that I have.

I use the bar bag quite a bit now that I'm taking more pack lunches with me riding instead of cafe stops. The bag is a decent size but generally barely noticeable on the front. It has a handy hole in the back to run a cable from a boost battery to your GPS without having to have the top open. Being a roll-top it gives you flexibility in terms of how much you can get in there.

The saddle pack is big but can still roll down to a smaller size if you don't want to pack it full. It attaches to the saddle/post well, as long as you pack properly it doesn't seem to wiggle around.

I have used both bags in some horrendous all-day rain and not had any leaks. I particularly like the integrated dry bag which means that you can pull the contents out of bags and walk away without having to take the bags off the bike.

I’m struggling to find any reviews on Acepac on the internet, but the consensus on here sounds like it’s good kit. Any further thoughts gratefully received before I push the button.

I had a delivery the other day , obviously not had chance to use it but the bar harness and seat harness are very well made and robust , when compared to my alpkit gear , not that that hasn’t served me very well over the past few years as it has , there’s just a few nice little touches like the bottom of the seat harness is very rigid with a plasticy - rubber cover on it , I’m not a fan of spending money on new kit when I already have stuff that works , but after the feed bags I had last year of Stu I’ve got not qualms about handing over my pennies to him

I'm just about to test mine with a large bag of chips to see if it can fit and be eaten on the go if thats rhe sort of review you're after...

I'd say buy it. Good (well... not bad for the) environment and its waterproof... the cordura is recycled and pretty strong stuff too. IMO well seamed together.

The large £1.50 bag of chips fits nicely (and I reckon can be eaten on the go but will see now) with space for at least another 150ml (got a few other little bits still in there with the divider.... towards the back)

Unfortunately lost my lengthy 1st day report as I typed it...
So here is summary.
Acepac bar harness,large fuel tank,fat bottle bag.
Today's ride 62miles ,33% off road.
After adjusting straps during ride ,everything performed without drama...as it should!
I think a d-widgit would prevent wear to the fuel tank and the stem and it's spacers.
Only time when boring is good!

You lot arw so posh... we're near enough to middle Englad (I think its marked on the map about 40 miles NW from us)... To be fair, maybe he under charged me... i did aske what size packs and there was medium, large and XL... so maybe the xl would have been a more posh £2.20...

Or maybe he felt sorry for me that I was looking very scratty with mud all over and could only affford a bag of chips

Good idea SBF, similar to the standard unit of measurement 'An Area The Size Of Wales'. I find it uncanny that random geographical areas mentioned in the news are ALWAYS - without exception - AATSOW. Even Wales is An Area The Size Of Wales apparently.
