Yawn... 25x700c tyre recommendation
Very dull but does anyone have a recommendation for a 25mm road tyre.
Tubeless - audax type distance - lightish.
Currently on Schwalbe Pro One which is great but the durability is poor on West Country roads.
Panaeacer Race 1 Evo 3 are deffo in the running as they’re cheap
On PX just now.
Max width 25mm as dictated by my frame/rim combo
If you are going through hell, keep going.

See if a 28c might squeeze in there. I went from pro one ((tubeless) and 4 seasons conti (tubelessed but shouldnt have been) to gp5000 tubeless. Never looked back and its rated for summer use but they stopped makinh some of their winter tyres for it (AFAIR)...
I think I've got about 3000 miles in em now and never been reseated... even take em lightly off road without worrying. Last tyre I'll ever buy and the 28c comes in at aboit27 on my rims... last tyre I'll ever buy

What width rim is the Conti sitting on?
My present Pro One 25mm measures up at 28mm with callipers on a 23mm rim at 80psi.
The frame is a design that’s probably >10 years old and race inspired therefore there’s not much more room left for wider tyres - maybe only 2mm at the chain stays. I don’t feel the need to push things to the limits of tolerance.
Must say that GP5000 were on my radar and that GP 4 Season were an old favourite when tubed.

Re: Yawn... 25x700c tyre recommendation
Right then. I'm between rims so can get a few more numbers without too much faff... and thanks to the thread I've managed to fill em up before gettting any wierd problems.
Numbers are measurements of actual rims that aren't on bike but everything else of its twin bro on the bike. Hope that makes sense, it is alot for a deep southerner to take on board
Tires are both gp5000 in 28mm flavour
Dura Ace rim 16mm inner and 21mm outer width*.
27mm wide @18psi
(erm) 27.7mm wide at 75psi
----------------------------------
Hed Belgium + rim (both brandnew) 21mm inner and 26mm outer width.
28.6mm (I started working in .1mm increments after the previous oops) @ 22psi
29.9mm @ 74psi
All rims not counting the rim channel so just measured it as the caliper fit inside without adding the extra 1 or 2mm that the edge of the rim flanges out

Comprehensive answer
Still looking for a 25mm to be safe.
Finding it hard to beat the Panaracer on price but they’re pretty heavy.

Re: Yawn... 25x700c tyre recommendation
From my experience I would say the GP5000 will wear out faster than most.
Schwalbe previous to 2020 came up larger on most rims, the 2020 Souplesse are designed for wider rims to then come up as stated size.
Schwalbe One is effectively the tubeless version of the Durano, where as the Pro One is the "race" style. So maybe the standard One TR would be good?
No personal experience of Panaracer as a tubeless road tyre. IRC is another to look at and consider.

I have some Pro Ones which looks like this. Durability I found quite goos. Probably not, but any good to you?
