Moving bottle bosses

Post by Max Effort »

I'd like to move my bottle cages a little, to fit larger bottles into my frame.
Are there any adaptors available that you'd recommend?
Thanks

I've just bought and fitted a Topeak one. (in fact they come as a pair). Works fine.

The Shimano Di2 battery mount does the same job.

As does the Mount Skidmore adapter.

Some have more adjustment than others. The Topeak ones move the bottle cage by 30mm.

I'm currently using the Shimano Di2 battery mount. It strikes me as fiddly, and I suspect that other products may work with less faff.

I've used the b-rad on two bikes to give me more clearance for a frame bag. They work really well but aren't super cheap. Another alternative for the same sort of price is to just get a drop king cage (Keep Pedalling have them)

There’s also this. Up to 37mm shift and £10.

If you handy with tools Stuart (middleagedmadness) kindly made me one which works very well. I also have the Top Peak one which is also good.
