Thank you all who sold me your pre loved stuff when I posted "I (still) might want a 29er frame" thread in classifieds.
Some of you donated stuff to me, some sold me kit cheap, another frame bag, and the frame was supplied by someone who had obvious strong feelings towards her. I've done 70 miles on my new to me bike 50 today, 20 Monday and I love it.
So yeah, I can't thank you all enough for taking your time to find stuff in your garage for me. I didn't know what I was going to build when I posted the ad, but turns out a rigid single speed mtb was it! (gearing now 36 x 16) seams to be ok for flat distance riding and the odd short sharp hill.
You are all truly wonderful people.
Hope it fits me (for a test ride whenever you can bear to allow such a thing)...
