Atlas Mountain Race on YouTube Tomorrow

Post by pistonbroke »

The official AMR film is arriving to a YouTube near you tomorrow evening. Maybe it'll be one of the few events held this year. I'm still hoping that the Badlands event I've signed up for will take place on it's postponed date in September but not holding my breath.

10 mins left. Amazingly put together... 'dental floss as thread', I'll nick that idea (wonder how well it holds!).

Thanks PB

Really enjoyed that, and it does look like a tough race. No mention of our locals though (unles Rich and Shona are locals)

I appear out of focus behind the bloke in the Stolen Goat jersey while he talks at the start.

Some really beautiful sections missed out, presumably as they are such a PITA to get to. Glad I wasnt alone in hating the sand at the end.

Enjoyed that but less focuss on the front riders would be good. I suppose riding lots at night is good to get a break from the heat but must miss lots of stunning scenery.
For those that rode it looks like a hardtail or fs mtb is the way to go?

Deffo flatbar hardtail or light FS is the way to go.

Agreed. Was almost thinking the same thing but I stopped being shocked at these ultra endurance lot when Sofiane managed to get past 40H-ish of no sleep on the TDR laat year. They're all nuts it seems.. JS included
