OK not the most exciting of subjects but bear with me
Currently using Ortlieb drybags that have a Diameter of 19cm (yes i’m bored and have measured it) Good strong waterproof material
Looking for a drybag as equally waterproof BUT with a larger diameter. Googling not yielding much info. What should i be looking at?

Re: Waterproof Drybags
Sea to Summit do a wide range of sizes (but are oval in shape which may not be suitable?).
Look at kayaking / canoe bags?

We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.
Re: Waterproof Drybags
Is it a 19cm diameter, or 19cm laid flat (just checking)? They are usually sold as volume in litres.
Exped are good quality and range of sizes.

Re: Waterproof Drybags
Can't you get a bigger version and just roll it down more?
Re: Waterproof Drybags
I’m using either a 10L or 13L at the moment
both drybags have the same diameter.
i would just go bigger and roll the top down more, but that just adds unnecessary weight
The ortlieb bags are made of pretty heavy dutyfabric, but guaranteed waterproof which i need as it’s for my sleep stuff

Re: Waterproof Drybags
Have you tried Alpkit? I've just measured a 5l I found under my desk and that's about 200mm, so I'm guessing a 13l would be bigger. The Airlocs have always kept my stuff dry without a great weight penalty.
May the bridges you burn light your way

Just looked it up : Airlock diameter is 18cm
so slightly less than what I have
Might just have to make do with what I have
