I hadn't signed up for WRT this year, but this sounds like a great idea. Anyone looking for someone to partner up with to pick GRs? I'm in Haslemere, Surrey

Hmmm... yeh, I can't find what I was looking for, this gives more guidance, but doesn't stipulate it either... https://www.gov.scot/publications/minis ... -covid-19/

EDIT:
Here on Scot Gov wrt quote by Prof Leitch https://www.gov.scot/news/public-urged-to-stay-at-home/

But it's not my intention to derail this thread, so as above #Rule1

Aye. The guy that said we shouldn't be mountain biking.

There's personal opinion and official guidance. I'm going with the latter.

Now - time for me to go back to the top of this thread to understand what's going on....

Remember I'm technologically-challenged John, so I've just asked Bob to simply list me a load of GR's within 6 miles of my gaff with no restrictions (except RoW) and then I'll find and plot them. Obv people can use gmaps etc too but if I'm forced to I'll just have a girly faint  . For normal WRT we'd have to find/plot - 'tis part of the fun.

Also remember peeps this is WRT so you don't have to go to any of them! Admittedly it would be very spoilsporty if you didn't for John's event though of course  .

PS. Bob, having said no restrictions on mine, remember to stick one in the middle of the canal or quarry lake or it wouldn't be a proper set of WRT GR's  .

We are close to Lothersdale which is to the SW of Skipton if anyone wants to come up with some Grid Refs for us. Don't know of any dubious spots (ahem) other than Keighley which is best avoided anyway
I've dropped you a message to do your's and I'm on with it, I
'll message you with your 10 Grid Ref's this evening.
What sort of radius do you want to travel out from home please?

Ping me your location and working radius and I'll do my worst

I've decided I'm not going to be doing my ride fully loaded as I'll stand out here, and people will get the wrong idea thinking I'm out touring. I'll leave the camp gear at home.

Hopefully that doesn't exclude me, but I'll do the ride and get some pics and video of the locations any way.

I hadn't entered the WRT as I should have been in Scotland. So as I'm not going there am I allowed to not go to Wales instead?

I'll need a grid ref buddy if anybody has yet to pair up?
