It’s been around for a couple of years now, the swappable hub shell is a great idea, you could theoretically swap between different rims. While they might have some clever ideas over the rohloff they don’t have decades long proven reliability. That would swing it for many.

I woke up this morning but I’m still in the dark

Absolutely. Remains to be seen if the durability is there.

It certainly appears well researched and engineered.
I guess they need to get some out there for "real world" testing.

The chaps at Ghyllside (https://www.ghyllside.co.uk/) have got one in their showroom if anyone wants a gander/chat.

disk brake rotor (two options, large or small),
Wonder what rotor size corresponds to which Hope caliper bracket?

Made me titter briefly. WFH-brain-softening ;-)

Hmm....
Still a lump to have on the back of your bike - I'm on SS just now and the 500g lighter (over 11 sproks and der) back end makes for much improved handling...

Hydraulic shifting? Fine but faffy if it fails mid ride and you have to fix it, but probably more mud friendly. Nicer shifter than rohloff.....

I'd be interested if someone did a three speed hub which was commensurately lighter otherwise I'm going to hang on until a BB gear hub appears. Fair play to them for offering an alternative to Rohloff.
