Happy Birthday Stu :-bd

I assume the lock-down means you had to have a massive change of plans and the huge party is on hold, better to have it next year anyway

Take comfort in the knowledge that across the county (maybe world) people, like me, are sat in their gardens under a tarp held up by one of your poles whist they watch one of your stoves boil the water for coffee, actually a second coffee in my case

Seconded re poles/stoves. I'm sure Stu's also very well aware that he's providing a valuable public service by giving society a safe, isolated, place where we can congregate away from the Normals. We were practising selfs-isolation well before the current problems! I for one am eternally grateful to him.

Happy birthday Stu, if it wasn't for you I'd have spent last night in a comfy bed and have a very healthy bank balance!

Hope you and Dee have a good day although I am a bit confused... does this mean today you will be less miserable or more miserable? 🤔

Cheers
Wait for me...

Rest assured I've spent the day so far in the workshop producing more of the same. Gotta keep the backyard bivviers equipped

Thanks Reg. We are ok - been a bit poorly but nothing major. Also moved house so not been near a bike in ages.

Happy birthday Stu. I'm sure most of us consider you an "essential service" but hope you find time for a bit of a break and that Dee makes you an extra cup of tea.

Funnily enough I was just thinking this morning I hadn't seen Bridget post for a while (been a bit scarce myself tbh) so also glad to hear you're ok. Hope like me you're using the chance to get your house sorted. There'll be a time for bikes again soon (ish).

You surely mean 'a cup of tea' Dave. If she did, it would be the first she's ever made me in 20 years*
