The Goats are coming
Something lighthearted that made me smile
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/h ... 37636.html
Seem to remember a similar 'problem' in Lynton.
Perhaps it wasn't the white mice after all?
Goats always look as they know more than they are letting on.

Zazen - nothing happens next this is it.

That's brilliant. Gave me a smile on an otherwise sh*t day.

The goats of the Great Orme in Llandudno have been a bit cheeky the last few weeks. However with no one about to scare them away has this effect. I wonder what other wildlife is enjoying non human contact....?

Re: The Goats are coming
We've had wild boar in the back garden over the last few nights, hunting has been banned since the lockdown. The hunters don't tend to kill many but the dogs they use push them back into the remoter mountain areas. I had a fleeting thought of joining in with the back yard bivvy at the weekend but don't fancy company in the middle of the night. Slightly worried about one ending up in the pool and the damage it might do trying to get out, they can weigh up to 100kg, have sharp tusks and run at 25 mph so not to be messed with.

I think we should all dress as apes to scare the sub standard out of the astronauts aboard the ISS when they return.

I bivvied in a wood next to my Moto Guzzi in Brittany one year on the way to madones des motards bikers rally at porcaro village. During the night heard what I thought were dogs sniffing the bivvy occasionally, it was only as I was packing up my gear that I realised the footprints were from boar and not dogs!! Phew!!pistonbroke wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 6:08 pm We've had wild boar in the back garden over the last few nights, hunting has been banned since the lockdown.
Joking aside,May I just add, wild boar are more afraid of humans, like sharks, there is a perceived danger, statistics show very few attacks to humans.
Stay safe PB!
