Understood, but nothing's changed in the last 3 weeks. I ordered an adapter for an out front mount to get a piggy back battery once I'd bought the head unit. Bizarrely the price in £ was £11.99 whereas it was €9.99, free delivered, maybe a sign of things to come the way sterling is plummeting.We're not in Europe now so might be legal

I bought my Wahoo Bolt like that (a mate had better discount at Wiggle or Merlins than me) and was glad when I finally sold it on as didn't need to think about the complexities of any warranty issues would bring up... Shafiq, I was being a bit tongue in cheek as I really want it to be registered to me for warranty, not second hand, given Garmin's tendency to die without reason.
As they say, patience is a virtue, I'm sure I'll get one at the right price soon. In the meantime I'll stay with my Explore which Mrs PB is currently coveting.

That would be great Dave, my only reservation is that the warranty would be in your name as being the original owner. Given their propensity to fail for no apparent reason and you and your magic cocktail stick are not on hand, I'd want to be sure they wouldn't be arsey about it. I don't know if it could be bought by you and "gifted" to me therefore giving me original ownership? Any thoughts?
