Bought one for the better half. For the price, they're much better than I'd expect them to be.

ignore this - it read as though it was an XL but its just the standard size

It says it's a large rather than XL. The picture and weight in the description suggest it may be the standard Hunka which is cheaper at Alpkit when you take the p&p into consideration.

I thought there was only standard and xl, so I assumed this to be the latter.

Yeah, I burnt one out as well. I replaced it with a cheap Draper branded version which is doing well and is compatible with all the bits that came with the original Dremel.

If anyone is looking for a 'serious' flexible die-grinder, I can recommend the brand 'Foredom'. They're more industrial than something like a Dremmel and have the added bonus of foot / pedal control. Mine must be well over 25 years old and has ported / polished countless cylinder heads and until very recently was still going well ... I snapped the flexible shaft and it was my fault.

Be aware that there are some knock-offs out there and I don't know what the quality of those is like. Anything less than £200 and it's likely not genuine.

Its a bit annoying really. My first one got frazzed after I spent numerous hours grinding the braze of a petrol tank prior to welding it. I figured this abuse was what killed it so bought a reconditioned one of ebay. It croaked just after its warranty ran out. I put this down to buying a recon one so then bought a brand new one from homebase. It croaked just after warranty ran out and only moderate use.....

Stus suggestion is a good one so I'll add that to my ever growing list of 'Tools to buy' TIG welder has priority though

The Dune is a great bike, and that's a bonkers price! Just be aware that it doesn't like a longer seatpost, as I found out to my cost when my frame cracked. Plus the customer service at Go Outdoors can be variable, they basically told me to do one, the bike was only three weeks out of warranty too...

Looked that number up and got 'copper balls for cleaning inside vases'. Dunno which is the more utterly futile! Stocking filler perhaps?

It's this one in oilslick

https://mangobikes.com/shop/bikes/singl ... -jet-fuel/

The 6 spokes are in purple*

*Having an issue with wheels paint quality, so stay with the stock wheels, I think I'll be going that way soon as I'm on my 2nd set of wheels.
But their customer service is second to none sorting the swap over out.

I’ll admit I just presumed you made the bike as horrific to look at as possible so no one would think of nicking it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that

Edit: the wheels that is, the frame looks nice.
