Evans has an up to 50% off sale at the moment and using the code EXTRA10 will get you a further 10% off clothing, helmets and shoes. Just picked up some new Northwave winter boots myself.

Cheers Borderer, I've been planning to upgrade my Hunka to a Hunka XL and thanks to your post I've just done it and saved a few quid as well. :-bd

36/46 and 12 / 28 - reckon you'd have to budget for a change of gearing too

You'll have to decide whether it's a bargain or not but PlanetX have open top packrafts for £380. They also have a raft with spraydeck for £610 and deck + T zip for the same money. There's only one of each colour, so if you fancy one you'd probably best crack on.

Podsacs have their bikepacking bags at reduced rates through their website. Their excellent saddle pack is £21 instead of £40 on planetx. Delivery is £4.

Cheapish down bag. Not sure I'd have paid rrp but doesn't look bad for £80.

I'm having a bit of a want vs need with these, DT Swiss M1900 29 15x100 12x142 wheelset £90

If it helps, I have the same wheels (but in Boost flavour) on my Orbea and I'm currently sourcing the bits to replace them. The M1900s have the cheaper DT Swiss freehub design which seems to suffer from horrible lag on occasion. Also - alloy nipples (yeuch!). Mine have the narrower rim (23mm?) too. All-in-all, I've not been too impressed with them.

Anyone looking for a winter sleeping bag might be well served by this. Comfort of -11 so would happily do for all but the worst UK weather. It's slightly workmanlike as in the fp is 650 but there's nearly a whole kg of it which is a lot of down. Anyway, reduced to just shy of £170.

What does workmanlike mean in this context Stu?

It's quite heavy at over a kilo and appears to be robust rather than slimline. The materials aren't as light as some bags and the down isn't of the very highest quality BUT it's a warm bag and will serve well for many years ... workmanlike.
