I started typing something but it made no sense without a diagram so I might as well let someone who really knows the answer do the whole thing!thenorthwind wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 11:05 amThat looks like a great bag for the money. I had to laugh at "trapezoidal mesh wall baffles" though. "''Ere, check out the trapezoidal mesh wall baffles on this!" I'm sure someone clever spent a lot of time coming up with that design feature, and I'm sure it was worthwhile, but I can't work out what it could possibly mean.Bearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 9:33 pm Summer bag anyone? 200g of 90/10 700fp and baffles rather than stitch through - £90 but there's another 15% off if you use the code on the website.

Machine mart are doing a VAT free offer - you have to register to qualify but well worth it if you want to start building up your tool collection (and who doesn't). Just ordered a new compressor (50l, 3hp V twin) and saved nigh on £50. Welders are also an essential part of cycle maintenance so fill yer boots.
PS, dodgy wolf compressor available for free, enquire within

Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Picked one up today - £76. Nice colour, packs smallish. It had obviously been stored packed for quite a while and felt 'crinkly' and thin at first. 5 minutes in a cool tumble drier with tennis balls and it's much better. Good zip and shoulder baffles, plenty long enough. The outer is quite thick/tough fabric and with zip and extra baffle bits, it's a bit heavier and bulkier than my PHD. It was bought with some use by kids in mind though, and confident it will survive that, so feels a bargain. Cheers.Summer bag anyone? 200g of 90/10 700fp and baffles rather than stitch through - £90 but there's another 15% off if you use the code on the website.

On compressors I stumbled upon this, don't know anything but cheaper than Machine mart by a country mile.

I hate to think what you're making it out of, but at least it won't flap in the wind.Bearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 10:29 am Ooh might have to invest in a plasma, it'll save some cutting on project 'Death Trap'.

Don’t know if anyone would be interested in this little compact stove, I actually use one myself and after I purchased mine the price went up to £15 for a while but just spotted it back down to £7-8, it works really well tbh compact lightweight

Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Thanks for that Simon, somehow mine ended up at £44.10 before shipping. It was already £73.50 down from £98, then it automatically put on a Feb20 discount and then I tried Great20 in the voucher code and it knocked it down to £44.10. Absolute bargain from what I can tell.voodoo_simon wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 1:44 pm Last day of the millets sale

No brainer for that price. I have the mummy shaped one but this will be nicer if I don't need to go light.
