Altura Attack waterproof trousers. 50% off at Merlin
https://www.merlincycles.com/altura-att ... 72751.html

Great thing with Altura trousers is the adjustable length, so they suit my lanky legs. Attacks are cracking winter kit.

Heard a vague clatter this morning and thought it was just wobbly mudguards, alas it must have been my back light being jettisoned!

Spotted this on Amazon, thought it seemed a good deal for a branded rechargeable light. Looks virtually identical to the Smart that went walkabouts!

That screws me breaking even on the kickstarter frame that took 18 months to turn up (when he's selling brand new ones for only £50 more than the original deal). Didn't help when someone sold one offered at £300 on STW.

Sod it, might as well build the bloody thing

Over on eBay there's Spot Gen3's for £70. (9 available). Looks like an unofficial dealer (ie someone who's picked up a boxful at an auction), but I just ordered one.

These are great, £35 from £93, 3/4 length primaloft pants (Pyua mens heat insulated pants)

Used mine this winter, lovely and warm. The 3/4 also means you can ride in them, so great for cold starts :-bd

They're genuinely horrible ... and that's coming from a colour blind man with no taste, coordination or style.

Went in my local Blacks today for a browse and ended up buying a Garmin Etrex 30 for £120, it was reduced from £220. A look on the Blacks website doesn't show them any more so I guess local shops will be selling off stock so worth a look in if you're passing one. They also had other garmin and suunto products at reduced prices to clear old stock.

Bought one of these Altura long sleeve tops and found it really comfortable: https://www.merlincycles.com/altura-tea ... 72764.html

Can't argue with £22.50 for a decent top.

There's also the Minim 200 which I got in last year's spring sale - I've been more than happy with it. Same price this year as well.

And a funky zip-off sleeves down gilet / jacket.
Hmm. Not sure if I think that's awesomely versatile, or simply a daft way of doubling the weight that you're paying PHD so much to reduce. Either way it's 25% off ;)
