Bit of a clothing theme going on here.

SJS cycles have got some clearance stuff, some of which looks interesting.

Ratrace have some discounted insulation. Quote INSUL15 and get another 15% off the listed prices.

Sport Pursuit doing some Canadian Goose down gear at the moment at knock down prices. I'll own up and say I've never actually owned any of their stuff, but reviews on blogs indicate it's quality stuff.

Not on sale as such, but nice quality 2mm guy cord here-

http://www.chainsdirect.co.uk/Products/ ... x-50m.aspx

50m for £10.50 delivered. I've just bought a reel and have to say I much prefer it to the Stein stuff at twice the price.

Recommended to me by pushbikemike who swears by his. Cycling gilet from lidle £9.99, windproof and water resistant front, mesh sides and back, back pocket, small chest pocket and two side pockets with mesh inners so could be used as extra ventilation. Initial one hour road ride seems promising.

My soft shell cycling jacket, possibly from Aldi, was brilliant. But sadly it died after a long and happy life. About 6 years worth of wear for £15. Am now off to lidl to grab a bargain gillet. Cheers Ray. :)

Speaking as a midget, £400 is still an awful lot of cash for a damaged hardtail frame ... even a nice one ;)

Funn Full-On bars are only £16 at CRC. Some wide options available. I've now bought 2 pairs of 750mm, which would be rude not to

Fair point but The RC129 is up there as one of my dream frames and so I'd happily save those hundreds of quids in exchange for some light cosmetic damage.

Also, apologies if any of the more height-challenged among us were offended by my 'midget' comment - not particularly p.c. of me was it?

Was the 26" version available in a kind of 'half painted blue the rest chrome' ? That was lovely looking.

I'm sure that all the P.O.R.G's myself included weren't offended ;)
