I've recently been trying out one of them there 'core' batteries and they're not bad!

So far it seems that you don't quite get as long a run-time as with regular AAA batteries and it's a little bulkier on the head but it sure is a crap-load easier to just plug-in and charge.

I like!

I hesitate to call some of this stuff a "bargain" but there's reductions on Gore gear here:

I love Gore kit. Don't own much of it due to the price, but the few bits I have got I'm dead impressed with.

I tried my first Gore waterproof jacket out at a Merida MTB marathon when ot was hammering it down amd I'd forgotten mine. Gore where there and FOC lent me a jacket for the 100k, it did the job brilliantly :-)

Good idea Stu, it's dan_kujawski@hotmail.com

Royal Mail reckon it'll be £2.20 for UK postage so £3.20 each please.
Gairy, if you want yours sent to France it's £3.40 postage so £4.40 for you.

I'll send them all second class ordinary post as it's cheaper than recorded.

Dan... IF you have one spare there I'll take that off you (not sure if you got dibs on all 7).
Cheers - no worries if I'm a bit late to the game.
Ta, Mark

EDIT: just totted up the 7. 'You snooze, you loose!' :) :) Will have a look in the local one and see if they've done the same reduction - thanks for the pointer.

brilliant, that sounds very reasonable fella but.....i'm not one of the seven

unless there was an assumption that, as i tend to want one of everything that's going, you just naturally put one aside for me as a matter of course???

My bad, I had it in my head that you were one of the lucky 7 but I guess not! Must be because you normally want one of everything

5 books posted today to Yetiman, Stu, Ian, Flatfishy & Mart. Awaiting addresses from Blackhound and HUX.
Had a look for the extra books for the extra 3 (99percentchimp, Gairy and Stevemorg) but there weren't any on the shelves.
I'm in there most days though so if I do see any more, i'll pick them up and let you know.

When I actually got to the post office, they said that I can post them as "large letters" rather than "packets" which saved a bit of postage. For that reason, I upped the postage to 1st class recorded rather than mess about refunding the £1 difference to people. Hope that is ok with everyone. Should they not arrive within a couple of days, let me know and i'll give you the tracking number.
