Looking at the entry list for this, there's getting on for 40 riders going from the UK. I recognise a few names but was wondering if there are many forumites that I've missed. 24th of May is the start date for a 700km loop of Andalucia with a sting in the tail of climbing Pico Valeta at 3,200m. I'm driving down on the 23rd and could offer a lift from Alicante airport if anyone is struggling to get to Granada.

Entries close at the end of the month.
Dry rocky desert trails may provide some relief from subaqua UK riding.

Which list are you looking at Duncan. I can only see about 3 - 4 riders from the UK listed.Looking at the entry list for this, there's getting on for 40 riders going from the UK.

Not on this forum, but I used to play bike polo with Tom Williams. He's on Instagram as @dusty_books

€210 seems a little on the steep side imho.
Looks like one or two pro/ex-pro riders going from the UK.

I was reading it as Siberia, as in a route through Russia

Bit predictable there Andy€210 seems a little on the steep side imho.
Comparable to the Tuscany Trail when you include a tracker, cheaper than the Italy Divide, half the price of the CAT700, the French Divide charges €100 for an ITT seems it's only the UK where organisers don't get adequate recompense for the time, effort and costs associated with putting on such events.
Seems 150 participants feel it's worth the money.

I'm usually the first to defend entry fees Duncan but I will maintain that it seems on the steep side, and stress the bit about it being in my opnion.pistonbroke wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 11:50 amBit predictable there Andy€210 seems a little on the steep side imho.

The Tuscany Trail is €97 and has no requirement for a tracker. The Dales Divide is €0. Organisers are perfectly entitled to charge whatever they like - I couldn't give a hoot - and good luck to them all.
