So are we now Bearlegged (Beerlegged?) Formerly Known As Landslide? This is all very confusticating for a simple bear/Bear like me.

(and yes I know that bear :-bd )

From now on, I want you all to call me... 'Loretta'.

I'm saying the word. Varuna it is please.

Good grief, only been away half a day and Verena is now Veruca (were you in Charlie and the Choc Factory, V??), Landslide is some sort of ursine alter ego, and apparently I'm not Reg at all (if indeed I ever was? Er, was I?) but another gender-explorative member of the PFJ??? My attachment to reality is tenuous at the best of times but if I can't even rely on my own name what hope is there? If we're not our name what are we?

Or is Verena now Versace????? There's no way I'll be able to ride alongside her in my Marks & Sparks polyester/cotton socks now.

Who's next?

PS. on the subject of names, in the past few hours, amongst many other weirdnesses which I won't go into now, I've just discovered that my chum Mark did Astrophysics for a while after he left school ("why did you stop?", "birds, booze, drugs", "ermm.. oh. er, right" said Loretta, a bit lost for words. Not enough BBD? Too many? I never found out) and he was lectured many times by Patrick Moore. How cool is that? I'll say how cool - 2.73 Kelvin, that's how pretty bloomin' cool.

Well if you lot are going to, I've always fancied going by a nick name I gained a few years ago (albeit from only a couple of people) - fatbikephil. HTrider is getting a bit long in the tooth now and either meaning - the bike or the Highland Trail are currently in abeyance.....
Stu can you change my username please?

[Insert deity here]! You go away for a weekend to ride you bike, in some blooming fantastic scenery I'll add, and everyone's gone and got a deed poll. Well, if that's the case... Er, Stu, or the powers that be, can I be changed to Boab, as that is the name of my alter ego, the character featured in my avatar. Danke schön, gracias, merci, grazie, cпасибо, 謝謝你, ขอบคุณ, etc.
There are theories at the bottom of my jargon.

I'm trying, I'm trying, gawd knows! But I think the portal has now closed so I'm stuck.

Loretta Brackets Reg

PS. Erm, who is/was Boab then? [EDIT: ah - KT! Welcome to the Other Side  ]

Judith: Why do you want to be Loretta, Stan?
Stan: I want to have babies.
Reg: You want to have babies?!?!?!
Stan: It's every man's right to have babies if he wants them.
Reg: But you can't have babies.
Stan: Don't you oppress me.
Reg: I'm not oppressing you, Stan -- you haven't got a womb. Where's the foetus going to gestate? You going to keep it in a box?

You're lucky - I just woke up one morning and suddenly I was someone else!

Verusa - nooooooo-o-o-o don't change back now! Two confusions don't cancel out they just make double confusion! And the rest of us'd have to revert as well. You've made your bed (*) .
