Does this CX (gravel) fork exist...or is it possible to get a fork made ?

You could get that built easily enough. A Surly Krampus fork or steel Salsa Firestarter is about 1.1kg so i’m Sure you could get your spec under a kilo.

The rare triple-butted Kona P2 fork would have been in that sort of category. I'd have thought that a few of the custom frame builders would have been able to fabricate one.

Yep lots of close but none quite there and none of them quote a weight

I did pick up a kona p2 disc fork without realising that there were much heavier versions as the one I got was well over 1000g, maybe I should just watch ebay and hope for a butted version to appear one day!

The older Shand Stoater forks were pretty much this (405 ATC, 45 offset, but ISO disk mount). 760g I recall. Most had rack.guard mounts though not overbuilt. Same as what you see on these bikes :

We built hundreds and hundreds of these so you may get lucky finding 2nd hand. New ones unfortunately are much heavier and thru-axle.

Shand don't make them anymore, they're Taiwanese. Heavier steerer and blades.

The original ones actually used some custom drawn blades that I designed (one reason they rode so well and were so light). Those blades will all be gone now but I did sell a load to Steve Garro at Coconino Cycles (http://www.coconinocycles.com/). I don't know if still has any and would consider making you a fork but might be worth a shout.

This was all a few years ago and there may be similar blades available to framebuilders now. Mine were made when disk brakes on road/gravel bikes were pretty rare and the only real blades that could stand up to disk brake forces were tandem blades that rode like crap.

I know this is really bonkers and sadly this is how my mind works but if I don't have mudguard eyes and rack mounts on the frame I can't have them on the fork I can't help it though

If you can find a fork that works, any decent framebuilder would remove and plug any an unwanted brazeons (you'd need a repaint obvs). I'd do it for you for a beer and a charity donation.

Those Vaya forks were on clearance from QBP a while ago at something like 20USD. Can't see them listed on the B2B anymore though.
