I'm not sure I'm desperate enough for the ones that are left... but it would feel like some semblance of normality, which would be nice right now.

When like that it's easier to just stay away (though obviously not "easy").
Same here, gets to the stage I have to clear the house of it then start afresh.
Managed to get drinking whilst working away sorted, (with help from Covid and various local lockdowns) But on a weekend I like a drink, maybe like it a tad too much. Then after a few too many I get the munchies and a taste for it. So diet wise it becomes a constant cycle. If i’m ‘aff it’ I’m pretty good at sticking to that as long as I have nothing in.

08-10-20 - 112.9kg - BOOM!
02-10-20 - 115.2kg
14-09-20 - 116kg
29-08-20 - 114.2kg
26-06-20 - 116.6kg
04-06-20 - 120.1kg
01-05-20 - 117.2kg
03-04-20 - 120.2kg
28-02-20 - 115.9kg
Beginning of year - ~118kg

I am VERY happy with that after initially having not lost any weight riding my bike solidly for a week :-bd

Still riding plenty and even started gently trotting (running is too strong a word) again.

If I can keep the booze and sugary treats consumption down the weight will drop off so I'll work more on that now...

14/02/20 - 70.5kg
----------------
25/09/20 - 68.8kg (-1.3kg)
02/10/20 - 68.1kg (-0.7kg)
09/10/20 - 66.9kg (-1.2kg)

Target: 64kg (Christmas break)

That number looks better than it is because it's a 7 day rolling average. Despite not drinking all week and only eating ~1,700kcal I've lost precisely 0.0kg in the last four days. Quite pissed off about it.

Birthday weekend excesses seem to have negatively impacted my downward trend - who knew???

Doing a month of no carbs and absolutely zero beer to see if I can get things moving again...

What's not helping is lockdown v2.0 - I know you guys have it coming too but I hope you all appreciate the fact that you can still exercise.

Fun, fun, fun! :-bd

I'm sick, again (so tired of this sh*t, I really am), but the hard work I put in for the BB200 is still largely holding on.

14/02/20 - 70.5kg
----------------
09/10/20 - 66.9kg (-1.2kg)
16/10/20 - 65.4kg (-1.5kg)
23/10/20 - 66.3kg (+0.9kg)
30/10/20 - 66.1kg (-0.2kg)

Target: 64kg (Christmas break)

Expecting to be a chunk higher by the weekend as I'm having a massive blowout for the US election.

Ok, back down to where I was a month and a half ago.

Two weeks into a (Dr enforced) six week period of effort and restraint (sleep apnea - trying to change lifestyle factors before going down medical solutions route).

So no booze, low carbs, no sugar and general saintly behaviour.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to couple this with increased physical activity due to lockdown v2.0 and a really heavy work schedule right now.

But doing Pilates Monday, Yoga Tuesday, on the turbo when I can and riding to/from work whenever it's not icy and I'm not hauling materials/tools about.

Nice one Gairy, result that is!

I'm guilty of not looking for a while. I got to place I was relatively happy with and immediatly returned to pies and cheese.

I think i've more or less maintained as all the cycling stuff I bought still fits. However, darker nights and a bit less riding heading into the winter does mean I'm in the danger zone. (I peeked in september but then ignored it again
I'll start measuring weekly again I think .

2020 peak mass 109.7
Start of thread 21/02/20 - 104.70
Last check 15/09/20 - 95.6
This week 20/11/20 - 96.5

Its creeping.... better get on top of it

I think I will set an intermediate target for myself of 92kg by end of Jan. Then re-target again for Spring / Summer.

You're still very nicely down for the year! :-bd

But yeah, it's danger time.

I'm determined to be under 110kg by the end of the year.

That'll be 10kg lost in 2020, I'll take that.

Morning folks.

Almost time to wrap up this thread for the year and reset for a new one.

Personally I've had a poor show couple of months lifestyle wise, the arrival of the dark sucked me in and I now realise that the changes in behaviours I made were temporary. Something I will draw a line under, reset and go again :-bd

I expect ive crept up a bit more, but I'll be making that check in the next few days at some point, no way I'm checking today after the consumption levels yesterday

How's people's year in the mass management game gone?

P.s.
I'll start a 2021 thread to help us motivate each other shortly, unless someone else does it first.

Ah crap!

I was dreading someone posting in this thread as I've been ignoring the scales and simply not thinking about how everything has gone to poop recently.

I'll step on the scales in the next few days and post the resulting misery here.....

BUT I will be down for the year so more a case of not as successful as I'd hoped rather than an overall failure. :-bd

It’s not been a great year, I think I’m heavier than I’ve ever been. The last 9 months have largely been a writeoff due to a combination of family illness, a fractured ankle and plain old apathy so I need to get back on the wagon.

Not going to go into reasons, excuses and explanations - not good enough!

BUT.....down 5.7kg from my heftiest ever weight back in April so can't really complain.

I feel like I have momentum, energy, motivation and a very clear idea of what I need to do / not do so bring on '21! :-bd

Nice one Gairy.

A great result for 2020, congrats

For me.

2020 peak mass 109.7
Start of thread 21/02/20 - 104.70
2020 low, about 95 (can't be arsed looking for it)
Last weigh in of 2020 = 97.5

So, there we go. Overall a great result. Last few months, crap.

As Gairy said. Bring on 2021 :-bd

Boo! But.....next year is your year! :-bd

I think this might be my first year of being down overall so good things do come to those who (eat less pies) wait...

Next year is going to be magnificent! Full of rainbows and unicorns and exotic trips abroad and weight loss for everyone!!!!!
