I'd use Newtown Dave. It's the nearest town of any size but about 15 miles away. Nearest named village is Llanbrynmair which is about 4 miles away.

Unfortunately it's half term week, so we've booked our annual summer jaunt "north of the wall" that week. I'll be thinking of you WRT'ers from Pitlochry.

The wedding I have to attend is still happening which means I'm still missing the WRT.

Love that photo JC. There's a bit of A Series Of Unfortunate Events air about it - Meryl Streep could live in that house - plus a bit of steampunk. The steel tracery of Barmouth viaduct goes superbly well with that on the house.
