I've Got A Pass

Post by Escape Goat »

Hey up

I have a two day pass and I don't actually know what to do with it.

Last time I had this I went to Keilder and woke up sick in a Bothy. Well saying that I got there sick and woke up sicker.

Do I re do Keilder as I'm not sick and explore and enjoy more, revisit the lakes again, Yorkshire dales, mid Wales to re do aborted damn Busters? It's sometimes easier making plans without a pass. The second you get you it becomes so much harder ha!

This is why I always used to have a number of routes planned and on the shelf waiting.

Got about 3 different Audax DIYs of different lengths ready to go at the moment... just in case!

I've got a lot of routes ready to go myself, but now I'm just spoilt for choice.

If you can easily do any of them and don't need to worry about logistics I'd have a few options in different locations (dales, lakes and mid wales is a good spread) and then check the forecast a couple of days out
