Undercrackers

Post by Escape Goat »

Hello all!

Just wondering what we are wearing under our baggy shorts / pants for multi day riding? I'm starting to shy away from padded shorts and started to wonder what you're wearing recently?

Thanks :)

Padded undershorts in the Summer or padded bib tights in the Winter.

Commando to avoid extra chafing.

I think I have some of them, fox ones, but they're XL when I was....XL...may try some out that will fit, but I hate when they get baggy and chaf. My chap was pretty sore after the BB200 last year...

Good call comando when wearing pads...summer is good for drying them out for sure.

I really wanted to try under armour, but someone said they support hunting? Am I wrong?

Under armour boxer jocks here.

But they're what I wear as boxers generally. They're ace

I don't wear padded shorts for MTB. But my multi day trips are limited to three days

Merino/bamboo boxers (ideally long enough to stop upper leg chaffing).

Worn under regular Mtb shorts with no padding.

Takes a month or so of regular riding to toughen up each spring but then I seem to be ok (hoping I've broken the curse of the 'ruined undercarriage' :-bd )

Some polyester brief/boxers I got as a 2-pack in Walmart El Paso after finishing TDR. That was 6 years ago and I don't know how many 1000 miles I've done with them since. They seem to be made of very smooth fabric that's as tough as kevlar... best riding pants I've used so far.

Wow. Amazingly bad marketing to most of us, yet the NRA is a case study in a branding book I'm reading, based on how they got big by polarization on a highly emotive point. Anyway.. feck U-U then.
